The defenceman has been traded from Lengthy Island to the Montreal Canadiens, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reported Friday.
The 25-year-old signed an eight-year, $76 million contract extension with the Canadiens, carrying a median annual worth of $9.5 million.

Dobson was drafted twelfth general in 2018 and has spent the previous six seasons with the Islanders.
